Logistics Network

NICT, located at the estuary of Pearl River, is the geographic and geometric center with extremely convenient land and water transportation. Within 70 km trucking distance NICT covers large and medium-sized cities including Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhongshan, Zhuhai and Dongguan. NICT has a sailing distance of 38 nm from Hon Kong, 41 nm from Macau and 35 nm from Guishan anchorage. Currently, the channel depth is minus 17 meters with a bottom width of 243 meters. By the time the channel project’s fourth phase is completed, the channel bottom will be broadened to 385 meters, which will permit two-way navigation of the largest container vessel all day long.

Nansha Port Railway project, expected to be completed in 2017, will provide customers with more diverse and convenient transport methods.
